Sensei Dambar Bahadur Somai is a highly accomplished Karate Coach with a 4th Dan Black Belt and Master Degree (MBA) in marketing. In addition to his impressive martial arts credentials, he is also a sports psychologist and a two-time national gold medalist in kata in AISKU(2014 & 2016) India. His skills have been recognized at the regional level as well, where he was the kata champion and selected for the 6th National Games in 2068, Nepal. Beyond his athletic achievements, Mr. Somai is also a certified Zen counselor and NLP Life Coach, demonstrating his commitment to holistic well-being and personal development. His diverse expertise and experience make him a valuable asset in both the world of sports and mental wellness.
Sensei Dal Bahadur Nepali, also known as Daya Guru, is a senior coach at Banganga Dojo with a 3rd Dan black belt. He had participated in the 7th National Games. He has successfully trained many players and has actively participated in various tournaments at local, regional, and national levels. His dedication to the sport is evident in his operation of around 10 classes within Banganga municipality, where he shares his expertise and knowledge with aspiring martial artists. His passion for teaching and mentoring students has contributed to the growth and success of the martial arts community in the area.
Sensei Sagar Khasu Magar is a senior coach and player with a 3rd dan black belt in karate. He has achieved many accolades, including a gold medal in the 6th Rashtrapati Running Shield-2071 in the kata event, as well as a 2nd position in the 18th International High School Karate Championship-2012 in Pokhara and a silver medal in the 1st Lord Buddha Indo-Nepal Karate Championship-2014 in Lumbini. He has also participated and won many medals in zonal level to national games. Currently, he is associated as a karate coach at Hillbert English Boarding School and also conducts private classes. His expertise and experience make him a valuable asset in the world of karate in Nepal.
Sensei Dom Bahadur Sunar, also known as Doms Shirpali, is a distinguished senior Karate coach with a 3rd-degree black belt in Shito-Ryu Karate-Do. With over 5 years of experience in coaching, Sensei Doms has honed his skills in private schools and clubs in Gurgaon, Haryana, and Delhi, India, where he has successfully trained numerous players. His expertise extends to participating in national and international tournaments held in Delhi, showcasing his commitment to the martial art. Currently, he operates two dojos in the Motipur & Jinuwa sector of Banganga Municipality, Nepal, where he continues to practice and enhance his skills. Sensei Doms is dedicated to imparting his knowledge and passion for Karate, fostering the growth and development of his students.
Sensei Shushil Tharu is a highly accomplished karate athlete and coach, with an impressive track record of achievements. He has secured 3rd place in individual kata and team kata at the 56th national karate tournament in 2081, as well as 3rd place in the 42 kg category at the 1st president running shield tournament in 2075/76. Additionally, he achieved 2nd position in the 37 kg category at the first Madan Bhandari memorial karate competition in 2073. Shushil also holds a 2nd dan black belt in Shito-kai. At the first inter-provincial national games in 2080, his team clinched 2nd place in the kata event. Currently, he serves as an instructor at Gajehda Dojo, where he continues to inspire and train the next generation of karate practitioners.
Sensei Sabina Aacharya is an accomplished karate coach and athlete who has achieved numerous accolades in various competitions. She won a gold medal in the 3rd WGKD International Karate Championship 2019, a bronze medal in the 7th Rastrapati Running Shield Competition 2071, and secured the 3rd position in the First Madan Bhandari Memorial State Level Karate Championship. Additionally, she achieved the 2nd position in the 1st Kapilvastu Karate Championship 2073, the state selection competition 2075, and the 8th National Games State Competition 2075. Sabina holds a 2nd degree black belt in Shito-Ryu Karate-Do and is currently conducting karate classes at the Kopawa Dojo in Banganga Municipality, Kapilvastu. Sensei Prashant Pun Magar is an incredibly talented and enthusiastic karate player and coach. His achievements speak volumes about his dedication and skill in the sport. Not only has he secured a gold medal in the 12th Rastrapati Running Shield competition at the national level in 2079, but he has also won a silver medal in the 1st Inter Province National Tournament. His talent extends to National competitions as well, as he clinched a bronze medal for the kata event in the 7th and 8th South Asian Karate Championship State Selection in 2080 and 2081. Additionally, he has achieved 3rd positions in several other prestigious competitions. Prashant holds a 2nd dan black belt in karate and now serves as an instructor at the Odari Dojo in Banganga Municipality, Kapilvastu. Sensei Dipa Rana Magar is a young and talented karate player and coach. She has participated in various tournaments such as the 10th State President's Running Shield, 8th National Games, 9th National Games, and 11th State Level President's Running Shield, where she has won gold and silver medals. Currently, she runs the Sainik Shining Dojo in Motipur, where she continues to share her expertise and passion for karate with her students. Sensei Ajay Prasad Tharu is a dynamic and skilled young karate player and coach. He has achieved great success in various competitions, such as winning a gold medal in the 7th South Asian Karate Tournament province level selection in 2080. Additionally, he also claimed gold at the first inter-province national game in 2080. Furthermore, he secured the second position in the Lumbini province level karate competition for the selection of the 56th national for selection of 8th South Asian Karate Championship in 2024. Currently, he is sharing his expertise and knowledge of karate at Bhupu Sainik School in Banganga. His dedication and talent make him a valuable asset in the field of karate.
Sensei Sandesh Tharu is a young and vibrant karate athlete and coach. He has achieved significant accomplishments in various karate tournaments, including the Indo Nepal Karate Tournament where he secured the second position in the team kata event. He also won a silver medal in the 7th South Asian Karate Championship selection in the Lumbini Province-2080 under the 67 kg category, and a bronze medal in the 8th South Asian Karate Championship selection in the Lumbini Province-2081 at Nepalgaunj. Currently, he is serving as a karate coach at Skylark English Boarding School in Odari, Banganga Municipality. Sensei Amit Gurung is a highly skilled and dynamic karate player, as well as a young coach. He has achieved great success in his career, including participating in the 9th national game selection where he won a bronze medal. Additionally, he also earned a silver medal in the -66 kg category at the Buddha Shakti Indo Nepal Karate Championship-2079. Amit has also taken part in numerous district and selection tournaments, showcasing his dedication and passion for the sport. Currently, he is running two dojos in prime locations, namely Parijaat Boarding School and United Students' Academy in Banganga Municipality.
